Description

The T-Lite is an integrated thermal imaging temperature measurement device with online detection capabilities. This product is primarily composed of the M5StickC-Plus and HAT THERMAL, utilizing the MLX90640-BAA infrared imaging sensor. The main control is powered by the ESP32-PICO-D4 chip, featuring WIFI functionality, a 135 x 240 resolution TFT screen, and a built-in 160mAh battery. The name "T-Lite" represents Temperature (T) and Lite, signifying compactness and high integration. Users can set up a high-temperature warning function and view temperature images and data in real-time via cloud and local network. M5 also provides an online data API interface, allowing users to access remote images and corresponding data through EZData, facilitating engineering project applications.

Useful and great value! (but it’s not a "military-grade cam")

This is not marketed a “professional” tool, like FL*R, at 10x the cost.

It’s low(ish)-res but the display works nicely. Best on short distances (1-3 meters, depending on object size). The nearer, the more precise readings - but the display can still show temp-diffs of 0.2c much further away.

As others have said, this works great for "basic tasks" (I mean that in a good way, I’ve checked things I never had the tools for before!).

So far I used it to find (prove) heat-leaks around some old windows, check brake-discs on my car for overheating, checked all the electric wiring in my apartment and a new car-charger setup.
The silicon-casing is a nice addition, anti-slip.

It’s so small I had to get used to avoid letting my fingertips being in the sensor-field. Had it in my pocket all day without even noticing. And the software is great once you get used to the buttons.

This was my first M5Stick product, and I'll definitely get some more :)

Great Little Thermal Imager for Every Day Carry (EDC)

Perfect size for carrying in the pocket so it’s always available. The ability to connect to its internal web page wirelessly from anywhere is a really nice feature. Once you start taking it everywhere, you start finding all sorts of unexpected uses for it.

The little thermal camera that could!

I purchased this T-Lite thermal camera for a bit of learning fun and use on checking temps on my vintage car and also bbq. It took me about a week to learn about the various requirements for using a thermal camera correctly (emissivness etc) and I have to say that I am very impressed. I've yet to connect it to my phone over wifi and all that biz (I'm not especially technical) but using as it came, with the built in screen, has completely served my original purposes.
