PRODUCT DETAILS

Description

CoreInk is an exciting addition to the M5Stack cores lineup, offering a brand new E-ink display experience. Powered by the ESP32-PICO-D4, this innovative device boasts a 1.54" Black and White E-ink Display with a resolution of 200x200. Unlike traditional LCD screens, E-ink displays are known for being gentle on the eyes, making them a perfect choice for extended reading or viewing sessions. Additionally, they consume minimal power and can retain the displayed image even when power is disconnected.

Controlling the CoreInk is a breeze with its integrated multi-function button, physical button, status LED, and buzzer. These features provide intuitive control and feedback for a seamless user experience. The device is equipped with a 390mAh lithium polymer battery, ensuring sufficient power for extended usage. It also incorporates an RTC (BM8563) for precise timing control and supports deep sleep functionality to conserve energy.

The CoreInk sets itself apart with its independent reset and power buttons, allowing for convenient operation. Moreover, it offers expansion ports (HY2.0-4P, M-BUS, HAT expansion) that enable the attachment of external sensors, opening up a world of possibilities for expanding its functionality. With the CoreInk, users can unleash their creativity and explore unlimited potential

Precautions: Please avoid long-time high-frequency refresh when using it. The recommended refresh interval is (15s/time). Do not expose to ultraviolet rays for a long time, otherwise it may cause irreversible damage to the ink screen. The low-power power management solution adopted by CoreInk is different from that of CORE and StickC devices. When in use, the PWR button is used as a power-on button(long press 2s). If you need to shut down the device, you need to use the software API or press the reset button on the back.

    awesome unit

i got these for temperature monitoring because the m5stick gets too hot, these units are a perfect and do not elevate the ambient temperature, resulting in an accurate reading. I can't wait until M5 comes out with a color version of e-ink for these!

A neat remote controller for your M5Stack based home control environment

A really nice and easy programmable device. Leave it on your table and it will be powered nearly forever. My only suggestion is to optimise the casing and turnwheel for more handheld satisfaction. It feels a bit uncomfortable. But hey, it is great.
