Description

Cardputer is a card-sized computer designed for engineers, featuring an M5StampS3 as the main controller.
For human-machine interaction, it is equipped with a 56-key keyboard and a 1.14-inch TFT screen. The onboard SPM1423 digital MEMS microphone supports recording or wake-up functions, while the built-in cavity speaker enables audio playback. An infrared emitter provides IR control capability.
Expansion is provided via a Grove port for custom sensor connection, and a microSD card slot allows storage expansion.
Power is supplied by an internal 120 mAh battery plus a 1400 mAh battery in the base, greatly extending battery life. Integrated charge, boost and buck circuits are included.
The magnetic base can attach to metal surfaces and offers LEGO-compatible mounting holes.
Cardputer is ideal for rapid functional prototyping, industrial control, smart-home systems and more.

Disassembly Notice When removing the StampS3 module from the front panel, be very careful with the FPC cable and connector on the back. Gently pull it out to avoid damaging the screen connector. Refer to the operation video in the Cardputer Accessory Kit .

Real Pocket Power

This little m5 cardputer packs a serious punch in terms of capability without sacrificing portability. The system is easy to flash using the official M5 software and I have run a number of unofficial software on this with a really high success rate. The diversity in terms of capability is astounding at this price point. I have purchased the RFID and the RF Transmitter and Receiver to enhance my capabilities and as soon as the LoRa module is back in stock I will be ordering one of those to play around with Meshtastic on this awesome device.

Cute.

It's small and cute, I like it. Dunno what I'll do with it, but. Adorable.

Though, one issue I have with it is the keyboard. The buttons are just too tiny. I mean, I can use them by pressing them with the tips of my nails. But if you have mobility or fine motor skill issues I would suggest not getting this, or purchasing a separate keyboard to use with it.

Other than that, it's a very versatile little computer. I would recommend checking out r/cardputer if anyone has questions or wants suggestions. They're very welcoming over there.
