Description

Base LAN PoE is an Ethernet controller base with PoE power supply support, enabling devices to easily connect to the internet. It supports RS485/RS232 communication and can be used as an Ethernet-to-serial server. Built with the W5500 fully hardware-based embedded Ethernet controller, the W5500 integrates a TCP/IP protocol stack, features 8 independent hardware sockets, a 10/100M Ethernet data link layer (MAC) and physical layer (PHY), offering a simpler internet connection solution for embedded systems. It supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, allowing the base to be powered directly via a PoE hub/switch through the built-in PoE module without requiring an independent power supply. For quick deployment in industrial applications, the kit includes a metal rail and magnets for secure installation, and is equipped with HT3.96 terminals for RS485/RS232 electrical connections, meeting wired network access needs in production environments. The 6 pins of the HT3.96 connector are left floating by default, and you can choose to connect the RS232 or RS485 level conversion board as needed.
