DLight Unit is a digital ambient light sensor module designed to provide accurate light sensing capabilities. It utilizes the BH1750FVI sensor, which communicates via the I2C interface, and features a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC).
The BH1750FVI sensor incorporated in DLight Unit offers wide-range sensitivity to light and provides high-resolution measurements. It can detect light intensity in a range from 1 to 65535 lux, allowing for precise and detailed readings. The 16-bit ADC ensures accurate conversion of analog light signals into digital values.
DLight Unit is compact in size, making it easy to integrate into various projects and devices. Its small form factor allows for flexible placement and installation, enabling it to be utilized in space-constrained environments. Additionally, DLight Unit is designed with low power consumption in mind. This ensures efficient operation and extends the battery life of the system in which it is incorporated. DLight Unit is suitable for various light sensing applications where accurate and reliable measurements of ambient light are required. It can be used in automatic lighting systems, smart homes, environmental monitoring devices, and other applications that rely on light intensity data.

Would be nice to have a piece of cheap diffuser that we can attach to the front of the sensor. Without it, it's extremely directional and susceptible to positioning.
This light sensing unit seems to work well. I am yet to incorporate it into projects.
