Description
T-Lite is a thermal camera with online detection function, the product is mainly composed of M5StickC-PLUS and UNIT THERMAL, using MLX90640-BAA infrared imaging sensor. As an esp32 cam, it uses ESP32-PICO-D4 chip, with WIFI function, 135*240 resolution TFT screen, built-in 160mAh battery, its "T-Lite" The T in the name stands for Temperture temperature, and Lite stands for small, highly integrated. Users can set the high temperature warning function, and view temperature images and data in real time through the cloud and LAN. M5 also provides an online data API interface, which can obtain remote images and corresponding data through EZData, which is convenient for engineering project applications.

Originally I wanted an MLX90640 module for existing M5.
I like it.
I use it infrequently.
I wonder about remaining battery during operation.
I wonder about self discharge over time.
So far so good.
Preprogrammed and useful right out of the package!
It is well suited to use in tight spaces.

It is an educational module, but the quality is good!
I will use it when making educational equipment.^_^
Compared to my other thermal camera which consumes lot of power from android phone, this is the best option to quickly check any heat difference and also portable.
Using it to debug boards, check power devices/heatsink temperatures and mainly to monitor Lipo battery charging (high temperature alarm).
Ordered the new M5StickC Plus2 (200mAh battery) to replace the current one for extra runtime.
Update:
Burned latest firmware (0.0.9) to both devices.
Attached a Narrow FoV (55x35) mlx90640 to M5StickC-Plus2.
The Plus2’s display is brighter compared to older version and narrow FoV sensor provides more details than the default wide FoV (110x75) which comes with T-Lite.
