Description

Module COMX LTE is a stackable multifunctional LTE communication module, built-in LTE module SIM7600G, supporting LTE-TDD/LTE-FDD/WCDMA and GSM frequency bands, supporting LTE.CAT4 (downlink speed of 150Mbps), and supporting voice calls and SMS. It has stable performance, compact appearance, and high cost performance, enabling low-power transmission of SMS and data information. The module comes with a DC power input, which can be powered by an external power supply of 5 ~ 12V. For user convenience in configuring pins, a DIP switch is used to set the pins. The onboard microphone and 3.5mm headphone jack support the insertion of headphones with a microphone. This module is particularly suitable for scenarios requiring high-speed network connections, such as video calls, drone data transmission, and industrial IoT.

Compatibility When used with the Fire main control, due to PSRAM pin (G16/G17) conflicts, please switch the module base DIP switch pins to TX(G0/G13), RX(G5/G15).

Solid build quality - Question about Peak Current

The Module COMX LTE (SIM7600G) arrived in perfect condition. The build quality is excellent and it includes all the necessary accessories like the SMA antenna and hex wrench. I've been quite busy lately, so I haven't been able to start the integration yet, but I'm planning to do so very soon.

I noticed the specifications mention a 5.5mm DC interface (5-12V), but the peak current consumption is not listed. Could you please clarify the recommended Amperage for the external power supply? I want to make sure I can handle the transmission peaks for LTE Cat4 without stability issues.

Everything works as expected. Great device! The only problem is that the needles of the connect bus is too short.
