LEARN AND DOCUMENTS
This is by far the best ESP32 you can buy. It is very capable, and easy to use if you program with Arduino or can be pretty challenging if you use the ESP-idf. great, small device that can be soldered directly to a board or use breadboard pins. Love that it has touch sensors all on one side. This brings me to it is still an ESP32, so if you're expecting high-reliability or completely free of random quirks, look at the Teensy. I do recommend this, if you want an esp32.
Great compact board with good protection
For a compact and versatile little device this M5Stamp is amazing and unbelievably fast; dual processors allow for simultaneous exection of disparate code allowing the device to handle multiple functions like exposing a HTTP/HTML page and then executing tasks based on the responses from the URL.. Wow, lots of power and simply an amazing device. The only think I would ask of M5 is to include an RTC in all their CPU boards as this is so critical to many applications...
Buy one; the price is perfect for testing, prototyping or STEM work in academic locales... If you are like me, you will by 4 or 5 and proto with 1/2 devices and deploy on the remaining devices... Just amazing technology in such a small package..
It well worth the wait if it is not on stock. Does everything, what a normal devboard would do, but its size is significantly smaller. Although shipping took ages, I love it.
