PRODUCT DETAILS

Description

M5Stack FIRE is a cost-effective Wi-Fi IoT development kit that utilizes the Espressif ESP32 main control chip. It features two low-power Xtensa® 32-bit LX6 microprocessors with a main frequency of up to 240MHz. With 8M PSRAM + 16M FLASH memory, a 2.0-inch full-color HD IPS display panel, and various peripherals including an IMU, LED, microphone, speaker, and TFCard slot, this controller offers a comprehensive set of features for product prototyping, industrial control, and smart building applications.

Designed for productization, the M5Stack FIRE comes with an exquisite design and a full-coverage case, ensuring stable circuit operation even in complex industrial environments. It offers a wide range of common interface resources such as ADC, DAC, I2C, UART, and SPI, allowing for easy expansion and customization of your projects.

The M5Stack FIRE provides a user-friendly development experience. It supports the UIFlow graphical programming platform, eliminating the need for extensive coding. It is also fully compatible with popular development platforms like Arduino and ESP32-IDF, providing flexibility and compatibility. Additionally, it supports FreeRTOS, enabling efficient multitasking and program

Note:

GPIO 16 / 17 of FIRE are connected to PSRAM by default, so when you connect or stack other modules, you need to pay attention to avoid conflicts with these two pins to prevent the device from not working properly and generating instability..

Switching operations:
Power on:Click the red button on the left
Power off: Quickly double-click the red button on the left
USB power: By default, It can not be shutdown when USB power is on.

Non working part of the M5Stack

I ordered the M5Stack Fire, Atom S3 and some other parts. Everything was delivered on time and without problems. I really like the concept of the M5 system. The sad part is that I never got it to work, mostly due to lack of a driver that actually works. I downloaded the drivers at least 10 times, installed it on two different laptops (one brand new), none of them ever got contact with the Fire. I contacted your support and they responded promptly, but even with their help, I could not get anything to work. I have developed Arduino software for many years already. I have a number of Arduino driven downhole drilling products in use.
Also, I think the setup of the drivers, IDE etc could be improved as I did not find it clear and concise.
    Thank you
